Why World Missions?
We engage in world missions because Jesus has purchased people from every tribe, every tongue, and every nation.
“You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God persons from every tribe and language and people and nation…” — Revelation 5:9
We engage in world missions because Jesus has empowered us with the Holy Spirit to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.
“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of earth.”— Acts 1:8
We engage in world missions because Jesus has called us to go and make disciples of all nations.
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching to obey everything I have commanded you.’”— Matthew 28:19
How Every Nation Engages in World Missions:
- We engage in world missions by intentionally reaching out to international students on university campuses.
- We engage in world missions through short-term mission trips with Ten Days Mission Experiences.
- We engage in world missions by training long-term, cross-cultural missionaries in our School of World Missions.
