Russ Austin

Russ Austin is the founding pastor of Southpoint Community Church in Jacksonville, Florida. Pastor Russ planted this church in 1999, and has overseen its growth from infancy  to what is now a thriving congregation.

Russ came to Jacksonville from Midland, Texas, where he was the founding pastor of Mid Cities Community Church. In addition, he has planted six other churches in Texas, New Mexico, and Florida.

Russ and his wife, Debbie, reside in Jacksonville. They have three children, sons Ryan and Aaron, daughter Chelsea, who is married to Eric Terwilliger, and granddaughter, Madison.
