Empowering the Needy in Namibia

Windhoek, Namibia

Windhoek, Namibia

Franz and Anne Müller have a dream of empowering the needy of Windhoek, Namibia. While still in school, Franz had a desire to help the needy in Africa. He went to Namibia in 1989 through Youth With a Mission (YWAM) and was able to eventually start a feeding scheme in the squatter areas with his wife in 1997.

Soon after, the Müller’s joined His People Church in 2002, which then led to the eventual outreach that was to become His People Babilon at the end of the year.

Babilon, an informal settlement of the nation’s capital where an estimated 50,000 people live in poverty, is where Franz and Anne have been making a difference. Their projects first started as community development endeavors under His People Ministries – Windhoek: providing pre-school education, HIV/AIDS home-based care, and a brick-making plant.
