Great Grace Church, Lusaka
Welcome to Lukulu! Great Grace Church – Lusaka is one of our Every Nation churches in Zambia. It is pastored by John and Joyce Jere. The multi-ethnic congregation meets in Lukulu, Sundays at 10AM.
Attendance has been increasing as leaders conduct outreach groups in
various homes both in the city and countryside. Churches have been
planted near the main university in Unza, Chongwe and Chingola.
Samaritan Community Orphanage The youth are being reached on campuses – a management school and a medical school – and through a work led by Champions for Christ to reach soccer players.
Pastors John and Joyce Jere The church in Lusaka has many programs to reach out to the community, the most notable of which is the Samaritan Community Orphanage. What started in 1999 with seven children as a response to the thousands of orphans wandering the streets without food, clothing and shelter, has now grown to include a medical center and a maize farm. Fifty-four children now live there, including five Congolese siblings orphaned by the war. A multiple purpose hall that will house a school, a mission home and the medical center is currently under construction. For more information, visit their website at: www.johnjereministry.org. |
