Cinema 2 of the Irish Film Institute is transformed Sunday mornings into Every Nation Christian Church, Dublin. The service starts at 11AM where art house cinema, foreign film festivals and documentary films are normally screened.

Located in the city's Cultural Quarter known as Temple Bar, the church is an interesting addition to the galleries, recording studios, secondhand clothes shops, craft shops and restaurants found in the bustling tourist area that is famous for its lively nightlife.

Interestingly, half of Dublin’s 1.6 million population is estimated to be below 30 years old. Temple Bar is a strategic site to reach out to the city.

 

Every Nation Christian Church, Dublin is also reaching out to Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland. The student population is approximately 10,000 and the school is a popular tourist attraction as well.
