Lynn Nawata’s article about Race for LIFE 2011
Real LIFE Foundation is a social and educational advocacy that exists to serve the poor and empower their dreams through education, mentoring, and community service.
One of the many fundraisers that the Real LIFE Foundation spearheads each year is the Race for LIFE, a much-awaited annual fun run that was first held in 2008. Now on its fourth year, it continues to be a fun way of raising financial support for the Real LIFE Foundation scholars.
This year’s Race for LIFE, held on November 12 in Taguig City, brought 2,585 runners together different age groups and walks of life. Rewards and recognition were given to the fastest runners of the Amazing Race, 3K, 5K, and 10K categories. But then again, all the runners are already winners just by supporting the scholars.
