Shino and Kelli Prater

Shino Prater is the national director of the African-American Resource Ministry (AARM). Formerly a professional athlete, he played football for Penn State University in the NCAA, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the Canadian Football League, and the Tennessee Titans in the NFL. 

Since retiring from football, Shino has served on the pastoral staff of Bethel World Outreach Center — a multiethnic, multi-generational church in Brentwood, Tennessee. A powerful and motivating speaker, he has a passion to see young African-American men and women rise up and fulfill their God-given destinies. In 2008, he was named to the spiritual advisory board of the United Negro College Fund (UNCF).

Shino lives in Nashville, Tennessee with his wife Kelli and their three children: Selah, Kaia, and Nathan.
